I hope you all enjoyed your thanksgiving. I know I did. I think the turkey tastes even better when you think about the Native Americans losing their way of life, land, and even family members while you down those buttery mashed potatoes. Mmmm. It's funny how we've found a way to ignore our own horrible history. As it was said in a great song by Nofx, "The guilty don't feel guilty, they learn not to." You can say that about alot of issues these days. But who wants to think about that? I rather just enjoy the holiday season. You know what's coming up? Christmas! That's right. It's the wonderful holiday were the son of GOD is born to a huge jolly man in a red suit in a stable in some mall...
Speaking of fish, I just found out that last friday is a big commercial holiday. It's called Black friday, and you're supposed to go out and buy as much stuff as possible. This of course is in honor of our great forefathers who struggled and fought for our right to have malls. Bless those wonderful americans. Gosh I'm proud to be an american.
A friend of mine and I decided that January is too long, and needs a holiday too. Because let's face it, once you're out of the new years party, it's a billion years before summer. And nobody really gets excited for valentine's day. We need something to tide us over. So I figured I'd introduce a new holiday to take place January 21st. It'll be called "ehhinnday." It's close to the birthday of Fredrickville itself, but that's not all we'll celebrate. We'll add something to it.. something unrelated. Oh I know, it'll be the holiday to celebrate the fact that we're not homeless. YES! Ask me how that has anything to do with FV's birthday, and I'll ask you how the easter bunny has anything to do with Jesus rising from the dead.
"That's not fair", I hear you saying... "What about the homeless people? They won't be able to celebrate this holiday!" Well, they have trouble celebrating most of these holidays anyway, and nobody seems to care on other holidays, such as Christmas, so why care for them on ehhinnday?

Who is it, then, who is against justice and liberty for all? (I can name a few polititians who are not for liberty, and are very much associated with conservatives. Think gay rights.)"

Wobert @ 12/02/03 "You attack the content of our website, I feel entitled to attack you. And besides, you made a really, really stupid comment. It should be patently obvious, given the nature of this website and the content of the post in question, that he was being sarcastic...how could I help but make fun of you?"
