Well it's been a while since I've posted, so I thought I'd let you know what I did this weekend. What's that? You don't care? Too bad, I'm gonna say it anyway.

This weekend I went to a punk rawk show, it was Relient K on the last night of their tour. I managed to sneak in a video camera and video tape some of the concert (as much as I could before I ran out of tape).

Anyway, as interesting as this is not, I just thought I'd rant about the fact that before Relient K came on stage, there were THREE (count them, one, two, THREE) opening bands that got to play. By the time Relient K got to the stage, not only was everybody deaf (the acoustics were horrible) but half of the group I was with made their way to seats, and fell asleep.

As a word of advice to any band out there who (of course) read Fredrickville: Don't have three opening bands that take longer each than your actual set. It's a bad idea. I doubt I'll be going to another concert from them again..

The redeeming quality of this concert was that they had a fat man come out at the end of the concert and shoot a confetti gun at the audience. That was classy.

After the concert, a friend and I stood outside and handed out FV stickers to anyone who'd take them. Let's hope that a few of them actually decided to come to FV.. and let's give them a nice warm smelly welcome when they get here. Or something.

I promise my next post won't be so boring.
