Can I remove Yahoo Answers from my Google results?

If there's one question I've asked myself multiple times while browsing the net, it's this.

Can I remove Yahoo Answers from my Google results?

The answer? Not easily.

If anybody, like me, has used a web search engine in the past few years, you've probably noticed a cancer-like growth coming from Yahoo. It's Yahoo's version of kicking and screaming as they slowly slip into obscurity. And it's really damn annoying.

A new trend started a few years back, where almost every google search returned a wikipedia result at the top. And everybody was overjoyed that such a resource was, in internet terms, a-plenty. (no matter how accurate it was, or wasn't)

But then, to fill a gap that wikipedia didn't quite fill, Yahoo Answers came to save the day- to answer those questions that an encylopedia just couldn't handle. Questions about love, science, STDs, health, you name it.

And never has there been a site so absolutely dedicated to being useless and full of crap. (I thought Fredrickville was a sure winner) Every single answer on the site was clearly written by a 13 year old wit no speling ibilitys. Sumthing we thot wud stay on aim, but it crossed the brige to the interewbs and its spoiling my internets.

And are they good answers? No! They're horrible. The idea was that bad answers would be voted down, and the good ones would sift to the top. But not a single Yahoo answer has even the slightest bit of information that could be mistaken for a peice of useful information. Yet they keep cropping up in every web search I make. Like I want it or something.

I'm trying to RESEARCH SOMETHING HERE! Stop getting in my way!

Is this too much food?
Do I have strep?
Is Spiderman Real?

Now to remove these from your search results? Well, as far as I can tell, if you log into google with your gmail account, you can leave comments, rank search results, and remove search results from your personal google-view. But As far as I can tell, it only changes that results quality based on the actual search term you used, not for all searches for eternity. None-the-less, I will continue to down-mod anyhow.
