Springtime Is Here, I Think?

Finally, the moment we've all been waiting for! Spring is here! And with it are our favorites: Freezing cold temperatures, and Free Iced Coffees at Dunkin Donuts. I will admit, it's hard to believe that it's spring. This morning my fingers froze to the steering wheel of my car because they were damp. On the flip, however, our friends at Dunkin Donuts would not let us forget it is quite undeniably spring. And to help our memories, they've provided the free drinks.

Now, I need to point something out here. A few people have expressed concern with the iced coffee at these frigid weather conditions. "Well, Dunkin Donuts' heart is in the right place, but it's just too cold for iced coffees," I hear them all say. In fact, people have criticized me all winter because of my liquid habit. It's "too cold" for iced coffees. You need a hot coffee. Hot and black. Insert joke here.

And I have to admit, the logic of these statements overwhelms me, and so I must give in. It is a bad idea to give out iced coffees while it's cold out. But Dunkin Donuts aren't the only guys making a big mistake. I propose a change that will revolutionize everything. Always.

Introducing, at your local Burger King or Mc Donalds: Warm Dr. Pepper. These iced drinks that have been served all winter were a horrible idea. It's just too cold to naturally drink something on ice. Next time you hit up Wendy's, Ask them to "cook up" some Coke for you. If they get confused, clarify that you want a drink of warm "cola." Ice water? Try Boiling water. I can see the slogan now:

"Water so hot, you could make tea!"

It's a brilliant idea, and I want royalties.

"why is the 'water so hot you could make tea' line in huge letters? It's not even that funny. Why point out how lackluster it is by putting it in huge letters?"

"Better than "ceiling cat""
