Right off the bat we can assume that about half of you read the title of this as "college." I assure you - that's ok. In the words of a great Olympic coach, "it's not like there's a guy at the thirty meter mark handing out medals."

Jason Mraz, a name which I have often intentionally mispelled while making tangential references to the aforementioned musician in order to arouse indignation in said musician's fans, (and even now, I use the term "musician" in a sense which might be considered aesthetically, "looser than [someone's] mom" and in an epistemic sense no less broad,) once said that the things which inspired him, which I will now try to recall as the light from outside enters in lattices through my shuttered window, turning dust mites yellow in this summer of wisteria, included, and I quote,

"robots. i admire the old ones man predicted would evolve that look a lot like humans in aluminum foil costumes. it says something about how we envision the future. at least, how our forefathers saw it"

"god. understanding that there is god in everything. especially us. and god sees fit that we do and say whatever we need to play our part in this life. knowing there is no right or wrong answer.. and stuff."

"breakdancing. i never learned to do it when it came around the first time. but i once saw a man of 60 plus years throw down. i knew it was never too late to begin anything."

"smoking. it's religious. something about seeing your breath, breathing fire, feeling like a dragon or sinatra. i think sometimes i'll smoke myself new octaves." "..and dreams."

Mraz's new handlers have enjoined him to change his website biography to read that his inspiration comes from "relationships." This is a bogus alteration, the contrary of which can be proven by a simple Google search for the parameters "smoking robots Jason Mraz." The top few hits will reveal him as the bronchially overstimulated robophile who soared to the top of the charts in 2001, an promptly off of them not soon after. Undoubtedly his true nature was not presenting the right image to the public. Mraz must be looked at as a product which must be engineered to be sold to garner as high a market share as possible.
In this phallocracy or in that one, we must exhibit a little scrutiny when it comes to larger than life figureheads. At the back of every operation is a thin little man in a suit with his fingers hovering over the switch.

In the spirit of true marketing ingenuity, the following images are from the Catacombe dei Cappuccini in Palermo, an exhibition of and resting place for the deceased citizens of the Sicilian capitol, which can be toured at the cost of 1.25 Euros.

I once expressed a desire to purchase little Rosalia Lombardo in the glass case. She reminds me of some sort collector's doll that I could display in my salle.
