I'm sitting at my machine, staring at a blank sheet of Word 2000, and realizing that for all my eloquent language, my depth of knowledge, and my devilishly handsome face, I have absolutely no work ethic. I have an essay due tomorrow that I should have known about for the past week, and the weekend. Did I start it? Of course not! I'm a notorious procrastinator, and I don't think people realize it. The illustrious Franklin T. Rea has no committment to homework whatsoever? It boggles the mind, in a very literal sense. Literal sense you ask? Well, imagine your mind like a big Boggle container getting shaken all around until the cubes land in the spaces and you can search it for a few simple words with which to...um, kind of lost my thought...its this kind of spacing out that is keeping me away from my assignments. I hope no teachers come to this site. Wait a minute, my dad is a teacher, and he definately is a fan of this site. Ironic, isn't it?
Complicated by Avril is on the radio. Anyway, has anyone noticed this little icon in Word 2000, down next to "overwrite," under the drawing toolbar, it's a little picture of an open book, that has a pencil moving across it when I'm putting text on the page. WHAT ON EARTH, may I ask, is this for? Is it in case I forget that I'm typing, or forget that I'm not typing I can glance down and refresh my memory? Sometimes I just hold down the space bar to see the little pencil do its stuff. It's very calming in a way. Taking every chance I get to post on Fredrickville is a good way to get away from it all.
One of my biggest concerns is that if my posts are too long, no one will read them. The Pete told me that he doesn't even read Doonesbury in the newspaper because the blurbs are too long. That worried me for a moment, until I realized that most of us can't read in the first place.
I really made myself look pretty good in the opening paragraph of this, using words like 'illustrious' and such. Hahaha. It amuses me. I think I'm going to get back to work now, I have those grades to maintain, or something like...ooh!! Animated paper clip!! HEHEHEHE LOOK AT HIM GO!
